Terms & Conditions
These terms apply when you book a table, hire a function, buy a ticket, submit a high score, enter a competition, attend Planet Royale at 12 Lake Street Northbridge, or use this website. By making a booking, attending the venue, or using this site, you agree to these terms.
Table bookings
- Table bookings are held for 15 minutes past your reserved time. After that, the table may be released.
- Cancellations made through our booking system at least 4 hours before the reservation are free.
- Group bookings of 8+ may require a deposit and a confirmed pre-order; we'll be in touch if so.
Function bookings
- A non-refundable deposit of $25 per guest is required to confirm a function booking.
- Cancellations within 30 days of the event forfeit the deposit. Significant guest-number changes may affect setup or service.
- Final guest count and food & beverage selections must be confirmed at least 14 days before the event.
- Confirmed numbers are final - no reductions or refunds for lower attendance on the day.
- Strictly no BYO food or beverages. All food and drink must be supplied and served by Planet Royale.
- Minimum 10 guests per package. Minimum spend goes toward food and beverages in lieu of a venue hire fee.
Payment
- Accepted: Cash, EFTPOS, Mastercard, Visa.
- Not accepted: American Express.
- A 1.5% surcharge applies to all card and EFTPOS payments.
- A 15% public-holiday surcharge applies on public holidays.
Dietary requirements
We do our best to accommodate dietary needs, but our kitchen uses common allergens including seafood, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, milk, egg, sesame, gluten, lupin and sulphites. We can't guarantee any item is 100% allergen-free due to potential cross-contamination. Tell our team about any allergies before ordering.
Minors
Guests under 18 are welcome when accompanied by a legal guardian. Minors must vacate the venue by 9:00pm.
Conduct & alcohol service
- Alcohol service follows the Liquor Licensing Act 1988 and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) guidelines.
- Service will be refused to any guest who appears intoxicated, is underage or behaves inappropriately.
- Management reserves the right to cease alcohol service at any time for safety or legal reasons.
- Planet Royale has a zero-tolerance policy for aggressive, violent or disruptive behaviour. Any guest acting inappropriately may be removed from the premises.
Damage & liability
The client is liable for any damage to the venue, furnishings, fixtures or equipment caused by guests, vendors or third-party hires. Associated costs will be added to the final bill.
Decorations & third-party vendors
- Decorations must be pre-approved.
- Prohibited: glitter, confetti, adhesives or anything that may damage the venue.
- External vendors (AV, florists, entertainers, furniture hire) must be approved in advance and comply with all venue safety policies.
- Clients are responsible for removing all decorations and personal items at the end of the event. Planet Royale isn't liable for items left behind and may dispose of unclaimed items.
Theatre tickets
- Theatre tickets are sold via third-party providers (Megatix, Ticketmaster, Humanitix, TryBooking or similar). Their refund and exchange policies apply.
- Show times, line-ups, run-times and prices are subject to change. We will use reasonable efforts to notify ticket-holders of material changes.
- Latecomers may not be admitted once a show has started, at the producer's discretion.
- Tickets are not transferable for resale at a profit. Scalped tickets may be voided at the door.
- Patrons must comply with house rules, including the venue's licence conditions and the producer's content advisories (e.g. 18+ shows).
Gift cards & vouchers
- Planet Royale gift cards are valid for 3 years from the date of issue.
- Not redeemable for cash; no change is given. Treat as cash - lost or stolen gift cards will not be replaced.
- Multiple gift cards may be used in a single transaction. Unused balance remains on the card until expiry.
- Redeemable in-venue only at 12 Lake Street, Northbridge WA - not redeemable at the door of theatre shows sold by third-party providers, nor on Uber Eats.
- Gift cards cannot be used to pay a function deposit but may be used toward the final balance.
Photography, filming & recording on premises
- Planet Royale uses CCTV throughout the venue for safety and security. By entering, you consent to being recorded.
- Personal photography (phones, point-and-shoot cameras) is welcome in food, bar and arcade areas. Tag @planetroyaleperth if you share.
- Photography, video or audio recording during theatre performances is prohibited unless explicitly permitted by the producer.
- Professional photography or filming for commercial use requires prior written permission. Email admin@planetroyale.com.au.
- From time to time we engage photographers to capture the venue. Patrons in shot may appear on our website or social media. If you'd prefer not to be photographed, please notify staff on arrival.
Competitions & promotions
- The Pizza Builder competition (where applicable) is open to Australian residents 18+. Entry implies acceptance of these terms.
- Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash unless required by law.
- Winners may be required to provide proof of identity to claim a prize and may be photographed for promotional use, with consent.
- Planet Royale's decision in respect of any competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Competitions may be amended, postponed or cancelled at any time for operational, legal or technical reasons.
Pinball Hall of Fame & high-score submissions
- All high-score submissions to the Pinball Hall of Fame must be verified in person by a Planet Royale staff member at the time the score was achieved.
- Submissions require photographic proof of the score displayed on the machine and the initials of a witnessing staff member.
- Glitched scores, tilt-cheese exploits, or scores achieved on a malfunctioning machine will not be approved. The venue's decision on score validity is final.
- By submitting a score, you grant Planet Royale a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display the score, your initials and the submission date on the public leaderboard and in promotional material.
- Personal contact details provided with the submission (email, name) are used only to verify the entry and won't be displayed publicly.
Conduct on the arcade floor
- Arcade and pinball machines are for play only. Banging, tilting beyond normal play, climbing on or sitting on cabinets is prohibited.
- Any damage caused to a machine through misuse may be charged to the responsible patron.
- Staff reserve the right to refuse access to specific machines or the arcade floor for safety, behavioural or licensing reasons.
Lost property
Items left behind are held for 30 days before being donated or disposed of. We accept no liability for items lost on the premises. To enquire about a lost item, email admin@planetroyale.com.au with a description and the date of your visit.
Newsletter & marketing communications
When you sign up to the Planet Royale newsletter, you consent to receive emails about new shows, monthly specials and venue news. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any newsletter. Marketing communications comply with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Western Australia. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Use of website
This site is provided for informational and booking purposes. We may change content, prices and availability without notice. We're not liable for any reliance on information here that's later updated.
